I am very frustrated that the first days lectures have been deleted. I emailed Sean to ask why. no point sharing with friends on Facebook or twitter if they can not access the lectures and get as excited as I was. VERY DISAPOINTING! I did not have time to listen to one of them yesterday and now its gone…. Makes me very sad.

    • Nicmayle

I agree, I am not able to watch these presentations during the 24 hours they are available, and we aren’t able to save the files to watch later…

    • Janet Harlow

These presentations are seminar-worthy.  i.e. people pay money to go and hear information at the average seminar series.  Sean offers these free for a limited time and then you can “attend” the seminars, that in general you would have paid for by buying transportation, lodging, food, etc. while attending, by buying the seminar package he will offer after. He is clear about what you are getting–a free chance at these wonderful seminars and then you can buy the package. I think it is smart and generous to let us have a freebee.  It cost him money to set these things up.  THANKS, Sean. Maybe some will read about what they sign up for first because you were clear about what we get.

      • Michelle in Oregon

I guess it really just depends on what the goal is with the seminar. While it is worth every penny, is that what this is all about?

    • estrellitazul

hey, i’m with you, i was sad i missed yesterdays.  I went back to the initial email & thought i’d repost.  Hopefully, that will help =)
“Each day of the summit, 3 video slideshow
      (Powerpoint-style) presentations will be
      posted in separate presentation “rooms”
on the RFS website. These presentations
will be available for FREE viewing for 24
hours — from midnight to midnight Pacific
Time.At the end of the 24-hour FREE viewing
period, that day’s presentations will be
taken down from the site and will be
replaced by the next day’s presentations. This post-and-replace process will go on
for the 9-day duration of the summit.Once presentations are removed from the site — because their 24-hour FREE viewing period has expired — they will only be available as part of the Real Food Summit Take-Home
package, which will include all 27 audio/video files, transcripts, and a TON of bonuses.”

Why are the RSS feeds being deleted after 24 hours? Not worth sharing on twitter or facebook. Missed several of yesterdays.

    • Victoria Wongrn

I agree. Please extend the time to watch these wonderful videos!

      • Sonia

get over it people. it was WELL announced that it was FREE for 24 hours. Get you S&*T together- listen/watch or purchase later.

  • http://twitter.com/AndrewPaleoGuy Andrew Trevors

The presentations are FREE for 24 hours, this was known ahead of time if you took the time to read about the summit. There is even a blurb on each presentation below the embedded video that states how long it is available for.

If you missed some, you can always purchase the summit package. This is what I did for the Paleo Summit

    • http://primaltoad.com/ Todd Dosenberry

This is true but I think it would be great if the videos were available for 48 hours or up to one week for free.

I think this would help with sales in the end too.

Do you think the Paleo Summit was worth the $67 or $99 that you paid for it? It did come with bonuses and this Real Food Summit has some awesome bonuses. I am going to contact Sean to see if he is willing to add my Smoothie Recipe ebook to the bonuses as well.

      • http://twitter.com/AndrewPaleoGuy Andrew Trevors

Definitely worth the money just for the extras. I’ve gone through the recordings again and made more notes, etc so it is handy to have a (legal) copy

  • http://www.facebook.com/jacob.forrest Jacob Forrest

It’s a good point. You really shut down sharing (what the summit and the real food movement need) when you take the links down. I understand wanting to sell the whole kit at the end, but keeping them up till the end sure helps sharability.

    • http://primaltoad.com/ Todd Dosenberry

I agree with you here. I think it would be great if the videos were available during the entire summit. Or, at least 48 hours. Why not spread it out over 18 days and show a different set of videos every other day?

24 hours is just way too damn short. I’ll have to email Sean about this.I think this would also increase sales.

    • Michelle in Oregon

Yes, there is no way I can sit in front of the computer each day for 2 or 3 hours…but I’d really like to be able to go back and tune in for at least part of each of the presenters. One day is not long enough to be able to do that. I just got home after a very full day and it is too late to sit and listen, so I’ll miss all of todays info… :-( . This truly is information that should be shared with a mislead public.

  • Sarah

     This talk is AMAZING!!

  • Sailmc

Don’t be discouraged – SHARE anyway! The truth is a lot of people don’t have or won’t take the time to listen all week.  Each lecture is a strong stand-alone piece and has VALUE!

  • Annelie

    Great presentation! Thank you

  • Chirodocbill

Y’all might want to explore the Concept-Therapy work, as it takes this to a whole new, higher level without being religious in any way. Spiritual, yes—religious, no.

  • Mundka

Come on. It’s FREE. For 24 hours. Deal with it. Also…let’s not judge/imply what type of spirituality is best.

  • http://primaltoad.com/ Todd Dosenberry

Paul Chek is quit the talker! I am 32 minutes in and Sean has spoken on 3 different occasions I think.

LONG but worth the watch. Glad to see that the other 2 videos are under 30 minutes!

    • http://primaltoad.com/ Todd Dosenberry

      Just finished!

I like how Chek thinks. I enjoy his ideas on what we says about how our mind and body are connected. People are crazy because their body is not in tune with the world. They have lost connection. They don’t know how to feed themselves.

Feed a homeless person a real food meal and he just may gain that motivation to look for a job or whatever else it is.

  • http://twitter.com/TheFitRx TheFitRx.com

Great info on the labeling laws Paul. This article just came out on nytimes citing the concern over organic standards being diminshed by corporations becoming involved and holding organic brands: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/08/business/organic-food-purists-worry-about-big-companies-influence.html?_r=1&src=me&ref=business

  • http://cube2farm.wordpress.com/ Mom @ Cube2Farm

OMG – Just found you through Kelly the Kitchen Kop.
    AWESOME!!!!!!
    Thank you!

  • Femerich

Thank you for putting this together, Sean.  I appreciate it.

    • http://twitter.com/ugwellness Sean Croxton

My pleasure! Glad you’re enjoying the summit!

      • hyacynth

        Yes! Thank you!

  • Karen Hultgren

I missed yesterday but am going to buy the package.  SO much great info that I know I’ll need to review again and again!  Love Paul Chek and how he thinks!  Thanks for putting the summit together Sean!

  • AFontaine79

Umm… so maybe I didn’t have a course in electromagnetics, but a static magnetic field (such as the Earth’s) does not induce an electric field.  So what then exactly is creating the electric field the plants are using to grow towards the sun?  Did I miss something?

    • Taniko Kishimoto

I missed that, too.  A lot valuable in this presentation, but I am holding back on anything like full approval here, due to that segment.

  • Rachel

Paul Chek is gettin’ Integral! (as in Integral Theory/Model from Ken Wilber and friends). Very cool.

  • RadiantTara

Just because you miss one lecture doesn’t mean the next day won’t have valuable information to be gained by you and your friends. Share the ‘potential’ with all.

Please people, exercise your ‘appreciation’ muscles. Nothing but thanx and appreciation toward Sean and the presenters, even if you only get to hear one presentation. Or start planning your own summit the way you wish.

I’m just saying it, many of us need to check our over-indulged mindsets and something for nothing expectations. We know who we are.

  • Treatlisa

Thank you Sean for pulling together this Real Food Summit.  I totally get the short viewing time and I am a little frustrated that people are complaining and expect things for free indefinitely.  But that’s just me, I guess.  Anyway, I wanted to add my thanks to you for this wonderful chance to hear speakers on subjects that interest me from the comfort of my own home.

I am one that likes to listen to lots of different ideas and sort through to find those that apply to me at this time in my life.  After listening to Paul Chek’s seminar though, I think I need to evolve a little more before all of that makes sense…  The other speakers I have enjoyed thoroughly!  Looking forward to the upcoming ones.  JMHO.

  • Kellyinabnit

Thank you for explaining how everything in life/ health is connected. Really enjoyed the presentation. :)

  • Barbara

    Hi,

Are eggs seasonal or not? Can they be eaten throughout the
    whole year?

I really like eggs. What breaks should I take from them to
get sure that I do not develop food sensitivity?

    Thank you.

    • Taniko Kishimoto

Eggs will happen all year round, but much more plentifully in spring, summer, fall.

Food sensitivity:  recommended say about five times a week, from what I’ve read.  HOWEVER, food sensitivities vary.  The only food I am currently sensitive to is fiddlehead ferns, which are available only a couple weeks in the spring. And I ate them for years without problems.

Thank You SO Much for sharing and connecting these Beautiful Wisdoms! So much I am mindblown- literal mindgism :) A release and receiving of energy- mm Thank YOU

  • Andrea Merrigan

Thanks for the videos. Watching Paul right now and enjoying it.  About eating seasonally, living in an area of the US where there is no produce in the winter months, what is the recommendation of eating produce in the winter?

  • Katherine

Really, really enjoying this summit!  :)   Kind of chuckling at Paul Chek though.  His definition of the soul is pretty much in line with “Mormon” doctrine.

  • Izzyksmom

I just listened to the QandA program, and I have a question about the caffeine thing.  I have been a caffeine fanatic since I was a teenager, and just after Christmas I thought I might have adrenal issues, so I cut it out.  After several months I felt the same (mostly fine, tired sometimes, still anxiety and occasional depression), so I started the coffee again.  What you said about writers and caffeine is totally on track for me- I have a LOT of ideas and hard time focusing on them long enough to get them down, so I think there is value to consuming some caffeine.  But on the adrenal problems- how do I tell if that is an issue I have, or can I rule them out if cutting out coffee didn’t help (and I get plenty of sleep and have very little stress, other factors I’ve heard)?

  • Elaine

I’m surprised that Chek does not mention Eckhardt Tolle on the same level as Deepak Chopra.  Unfortunately, the fact that Eckhardt allowed Oprah W. to endorse his writings has soured some people on him.  His message is so important and Chek’s message seems to be very compatible with Tolle’s message.

    • Rachel

I consider Deepak Chopra a dubious character because of his involvement with the direct-marketing scheme Zrii (a juice) and just generally being kind of smarmy. Tolle is the real deal and it’s unfortunate that his involvement with Oprah tainted him in any way. Chek talks like he’s familiar with Integral Theory from Ken Wilber. I’d so like to know if Integral/Wilber is at all on his radar.

  • Sofiadiablesa

Anyone know how I can download this to iTunes and listen later? The first presentation with Joel Salatin automatically downloaded to iTunes but not this one. Any ideas?

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/KKI4EJQ2KH3CFZ3KMXLH2PDYR4 Nefertiti

I absolutely enjoyed listening to this presentation. The information shared here is priceless. Thank you. Peace!

  • jake3_14

So, what are us folks who can’t afford organic food (which is a scam anyway — read the recent NYT piece on the corruption of the standards) supposed to do — just suffer the consequences of poor soil health?
